Don't Wanna Go Home is a song by American recording artist Jason Derülo. It was released on May 20, 2011 as the lead single from his upcoming second studio album, Future History. Written by Derülo, and Chaz William and David Delazyn of The Fliptones, Don't Wanna Go Home samples the song "Show Me Love" by Robin S. and incorporates an interpolation of "Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)" by Harry Belafonte. Most critics praised the song's production and lyrics, while others observed its lack of originality. The song has reached the top-ten in Australia and Ireland, and has peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, becoming Derülo's second number-one single there. An accompanying music video was directed by Rich Lee, and features Derülo in various dance sequences in an industrial warehouse.Read more...
